When I first had my encounter with morning sickness, I thought it was gastric flu and went to GP to get the usual medications. Little did I know this was the hormonal reflex / mother nature trying to inform me about the miracle that's growing in my tummy. Mum being the experienced one almost immediately detected fallacy when she saw me. Not that I've put on a couple of kilos, but more so the blottedness and sensitivity to certain food smell kind of gave it away. That's when I did my pregnancy test. And bingo! We've got a baby! Though we've been trying to conceive for past 5 months, it came as a majorly pleasant surprise when you least expect it! I must say mums definitely know their kids best esp in my case =).
Baby was about 1month old when we first discovered her existence.
