Feedback from Ms Preti - Natalie

K2 graduation

It's year end concert again and the kids were busy training every day going through the dance steps till they were able to remember them by heart.  This year Natalie's class presented a salsa dance item. The costumes were kind of sensual and daddy almost fell off his seat when he saw her little innocent girl shaking her bon bon on stage.  Her dance item was one of the longest piece. Kids gyrating to the tune "Selamme". I must say they did a great job and received the most encore from the audience.  We could hear the people around us saying that they looked and danced professionally.  Well as parents we are proud that she and her classmates managed such a difficulty stint together.  The grand finale even ended with a little 6 year old being lifted by her 2 little friends.  So that itself was an eye opener! However i must say that it felt really weird to watch our kids at such a young age performing this dance.  It was not immoral definitely not. . But just wasn't what we anticipated.  This explains why jie jie felt shy about showing us the moves.

2 little teeth

At 7 months bb now has 2 little front teeth at the base. Didn't realise them until we heard grinding sounds. Thought it was a lizard that was stuck in his cot. Then we soon realise it was him and his little teeth as he was happily grinding away. .. just like a little beaver!

New company

Starting real work tomorrow and been having butterflies in my stomach! Not sure if i can live up to the expectations of the bosses and whether i can deal with the volume of 12k staff count which is 10 times more than my previous company. Can't  sleep.. adrenaline rushing to my head. Repeating the route to drive out to the new work place in my mind just so that i won't be late. And what will happen to my milk supply.. will it dip? Is there a nursing room? If not where should i do it? So many question mark! And most importantly do i have time  to even express! Yikes! Super kan chong! Thought of my first day of work sends my in a spiral! Better get some rest before baby wakes me up in the middle of the night!

6th month checkup

Nathanael  has completed his 6th month checkup and all the stats place him at p80 or more. He weighs 8.5kg and has a height of 70cm. His head circumference of 45cm place him at p90!

Doc said he is feeding and sleeping well and that my breastmilk supply is wonderful to keep him so well fed !

2 Brothers

The 2 brothers are real close and Nathan being the eldest will always step up on jis responsibilities and never fail to help look after his didi be it entertaining him so we can get some sanity or playing with him. He is so gentle with him and makes him laugh all the time.

Rws staycation

We planned a 1 week staycation for the kids since nathanael don't have a passport to travel and with the "bersih" rally going on in Malaysia we have decided to skip the thought of going across the border all together.

So rws became the next best option. We had great fun at universal studios where nathan demonstrated his bravery by sitting on some of the more extreme rides like the transformer simulator and puss n boots giant journey.  He was  unafraid of the rides and kept his eyes opened to fully submerge himself in the special effects. Natalie on the other hand was really frightened by the simulator which loses control to the spinning turbine and experienced a steep downward drop. The little girl had her hands over her tightly shut eyes half the time and i had to tell her that it's over before she reopens her eyes again.  Such a cutie! So when asked what's her favourite rides, her answer was sesame street galaxy ride, which is the safest ride that is available in uss and she went on it repeatedly for 4 rounds at least. 

Steven Spielberg's movie magic studio was an eye opener for the kids.  Though natalie is seeing this for the 3rd time each impression was different. Although we all know that the set is surreal, the kids get to experience what a real typhoon may feel like and Natalie pointed out how blessed we are to be living in a country that is geographically well protected from the natural elements. Nathan concurred with this conclusion and reiterated the fact that fire is dangerous and we shouldn't play with it. How impressive! 

We were at sea aquarium and adventure cove waterpark over the next couple of days.  The children enjoyed the outdoor water park.we were fortunate that the weather remained sunny albeit slight haziness, residual from previous day where it hit a high psi of 160. I considered ourselves blessed to have such a wonderful time at the resort!
