He has 3 upper and lower teeth now. Started on solids a month before. Loves food and tends to be a little inpatient when served slow! He has the tendency to grab food and things he could find to place in his mouth! Super good eye sight at spotting the tiniest speck of whatever on the floor and deft fingers that pops things in instantly particularly when one is not looking! He sips from the cup and holds his bottle since 7 months, at 12mths he has no issues with solids and loves picking up rice grains at dinners!
He is constantly on the move, nods his head to music that he likes and dances to disney junior birthday song whenever it turns up on tv. Genre of tv differs slightly from jie jie when she was young.. He loves action shows ie hi5. Tayo and team umizoomi and word world are one of his favourites too.
He is a fast learner, follows your speech and sounds that comes out are pretty close to actual words. We are quite amazed at his progression as we thought boys may be slower when it comes to speech. He could pronounce the more difficult words words that contain 's' like six, stones, snAke etc.
Like his sister he is addicted to me! Huge attention seeker who cries real loud when left in the cot! Cant bear to be away from mummy 24/7 and loves the attention showered by his grandparents! Gong gong is his biggest fan and he acknowledges him by calling out to him, turning in circle like a celebratory dance when he comes back from wherever he went! Amazing little boy and cutest little actions i must say!!
Nathan enjoys playing hide and seek with jie jie! He will spot her at corners and points her out with his finger and calling out "there!" at the same time! Both loves the catching game and though jie jie is much faster so he ends up the catcher most times, he is smart enough to reverse and turnaround to stop her in her tracks!! So that kind of made it harder for jie jie to sneak up from behind !
