Watching lion king on the 2nd day was the right choice as we were all pretty exhausted after a long flight, difference in time zone (Gmt 0, lunch time = bed time) and with age catching up i must mention that a less active activity worked best for the family.
I must say the lion king production never fails to entertain. Despite her age, natalie was able to follow the story line and she enjoyed the show most when Timon and Pumbaa appeared on stage!
She hated the character Scar as well as his followers, the lazy hyenas. To the extent that she almost wanted to get out of the theatres when Mufasa was killed by Scar! I could tell She hated the scene where the lioness gathered and weeped for the little lion and Mufasa! We had a hard time persuading her to watch on so she could see for herself how Little Sinba went about saving his herd!
It was an emotional roller coastal ride, glad she pulled through and fell into a long nap only after the show!
My sgd 250 didnt go to waste!
