London 2012

We've decided to go on a long trip to reward ourselves! Now that the olympics fever is drawing close we thought what better ways to feel the heat of the olympic games than to go on down to experience all that hype first hand!

However, issue is do we even want to bring the babies? Should we bring nathan since he may be easier to look after, a live expressing machine he could ensure consistent flow. He goes cheap as well since he is under 2. However, With all the expected walking up and down the underground, chris and i have decided to bring just one baby and as one could guess we had to bring the one who couldn't stop complaining if we were to leave her at home!

Natalie had over heard our conversations about packing for london and settling our accounts in the uk. She waited and asked in anticipation if she could tag along! She will sing 'london bridge is falling down' in the car or wherever she goes to constantly remind us that she really wants to come along! We told her its a long shot and we will only bring her if she can be at her best behaviour.

For the past couple of days, natalie has been such a good girl and watches our every expression of approvals and disapprovals real closely to increase her chances of going! For instance, she would usually ask if she could watch tv whilst she has her meals and when we said no, she would complain in her own ways ie plead, bargain, throw tantrums, wait for grandpa to arrive blah blah blah! Surprisingly prior to the trip she didn't! She would say "alright... After lunch ok?" or she would say " ok, mama happy! " what a smart little girl!

When her tickets were confirmed, guess what she told my helper? "mimi, you cannot go, stay home and look after nathan ok? I will buy you a present from london alright?" or alternatively she would say "mimi, you must Be good ok, may be then mama will bring you. Natalie is a good girl so natalie is going to london!", i had such a good laugh hearing this from my helper! What an amazing little 3 years old! Such conversations can never be taught nor scripted! This little girl continues to amaze me without fail!
