Been 2 weeks since the incident and I have finally made up my mind to retain mimi. It was a tough deliberation between habits and new discoveries, and habits seems so much harder to kick! We are so used to having her around, the kids loves her and have long considered her as part of the family. Despite her usually staying over at popo's place on weekday nights, Natalie will want to bring her home together with the family. It is rare to find a good help with experience these days and she definitely is a good pair of hands. In fact i think she may be better at handling the kids than us and dotes on them just as much.
New maid will mean unknown risks and more fees as well. Thus from both financial and risk perspective, she may still be more reliable than someone new. Had a chat with her last night and i am hoping that she will want to continue to work with us for another year or so.
