Princess at school

We thought we could shield her from the princess craze phase, but external influences such as her peers and media are simply too difficult to shut out. And yes Natalie is now obsessed with the princess theme... From tiaras to gowns ( blue preferred since its cinderella's gown colour, but it was never her favourite in the past) to wands. She will insist that her father enact the entire story with her acting as the lead actress - "Cinderella" and Nathan as the PRince who found her glass slipper and ends up living happily ever after.

Today she woke up wanting to live that dream and insisted on wearing the beautiful blue dress and tiara to school. We thought no harm done and might as well maximise utility of the outfit.

As a bystander i could sense the power of "the princess look"! many of the passerby will smile and whisper "princess" amongst themselves. Little girls stare in awe at the blue dress fantasying their next buy. I could tell that she is enjoying all that attention, though appearing rather shy in public, she walks with her head held high and tries her best not to step into puddles. She will look at me shyly and have this happiest grin when she hears people remarking about her outfit. Well she is definitely getting the princessy treatment as she counts on her loyal footman daddy to ferry her in her 'pumpkin' carriage from one location to another! And the dependable Nathan will exclaim "welcome home princess" when she pops home for lunch.

By the end of the day, Natalie had loads of fun and so did we as loyal servants waiting on the highness for a day... Erm and lets just restrict it to 1 day first k princess Natalie!
