Nathan's K1 concert
We celebrated Nathan's K1 graduation at Kallang Theatre. As per previous the school would organise the concert for eager parents who hardly knew what's going on in school to finally get a glimpse of the kindergarten school life. Nathan did really well and his teacher Mrs Wen had been praising hin right from the start of school. Always telling me how charming he is and how smart he is. I always knew Nathan to be someone who enjoys the limelight but too shy to put his hand up to volunteer. Well today he did us proud! Standing tall in the first row and knowing the dance steps fluently and shows confidence in his behaviour. I am sure with opportunities he will be a lot more forthcoming and display the maturity and sweetness that we can all see so apparently as he deals with people around him. Good job darling! Keep up the good work! We love you so much and will cheer you on!

Good times
Had a great time with the babies today with daddy! Finally a day where mummy and daddy are both available to do an activity together. I so missed the days where Chris would fetch the kids on sat and sun where we'll laze or do our work at the malls whilst we wait for the kids to finish their enrichment classes.

Children's day
Volunteered for the children's day celebration at Natalie's school and it was such a good experience..I managed to overcome my fear of balloons during the school event! It was a major feat for me as I have been really afraid of bursting balloons since young. The creepy scratchy sound of balloons being twisted sends shivers up my spine!
We made tonnes and tonnes of balloons. The session was well received by the kids and each went home with a gift of love from the parent volunteer. Hard work I must say but seeing that face brighten at the end of the day is all worth it!
Compassone
The reopening of Compassone brings joy to the entire family. Now we don't have to travel far away to purchase our groceries and milk powders. The kids get to visit the mall after their music lessons for that long awaited snack in view of good behaviour or performance. Nathan particularly dislikes music lessons as he didn't enjoy the previous book. Primary 3 seems so much harder for me but he some manage to enjoy it better. I think the teacher plays such an important role. Ms Yap had been such a wonderful teacher and with her guidance I do hope that Nathan is able to learn to appreciate music and put in that extra efforts to practice on his own.

Daddy's shop opening 1 Sep 2016
Chris had been making preparations for the past 3 months, working hard in preparation for his first optical shop's grand opening. We are delighted to be part of his career journey and wish him the very best and may he have many bountiful returns to come!
