Nat has had the following injection last Friday. DPT/DT (Diphtheria, Pertussis & TetanusPoliomyelitis) & Oral Sabin – 1st dose.
Dr Toh mentioned that some babies may develop a mild fever between 37.5 - 38.5 degrees within 24 hours aafter the injection. I was constantly checking her temp throughout the day. Temp peaked to 37.4 during mid afternoon and went down by evening. So glad there was no sign of fever over the next few days. =) Grandmummy say Nat's body constitution must be really strong! Constant feeding on the au natural breastmilk has definitely helped!
Hi Nat, grandmummy was a bit pissed with Dr Toh today cause she laid you flat on your face to see if you had the strength to push yourself up with your arms. You ended up resting the weight of your head on your nose and she was afraid it may flatten as a result. Don't worry mummy pinched your tineee nose several times after that. Don't think there is any serious damage.
