Bits about confinement

Nathan has been such a good drinker and resulted in a pretty regular milk flow of about 180 to 320ml for each expression. Now am trying to express as regularly as i can. It helps having a confinement lady(CL) around who helps with the night feeds so i could have time to express. My flow wasnt as high during Natalie's time As i only practiced direct feed so the flow regulated itself based on her demand. I was pretty surprised at the rate i could produce. Freezer is now almost half filled and i had to transfer some to mum's to free up more space.

Since chris is hardly home I am quite fortunate to have an extra pair of hands in the house. Just this morning she has asked my maid to clean up and reorganise the fridge so she'll know where the things are kept. But having said so, the CL still requires some supervision when it comes to washing up and looking after baby. Good thing about her is she doesnt nag and has a positive work attitude. Though she utilises the maid often, i am fine with it as ultimately my helper must be able to handle the workload of both children. It's pretty much honeymoon period for both of us, it's weird that i am hoping my confinement to be prolonged.
