There is a certain reservation in natalie when an adult attempt to chit chat with her. Either she is watching her guard and being real careful or she is overly shy or simply showing an attitude just because she don't feel like entertaining.
However when it comes to her brother, natalie would express a certain possessiveness around nathan or to be more specific, she has a set of unwritten rules which states who is allowed to carry nathan.
Her retaliation starts subtly, from little whispers and frowns to outburst of tears and screams of no! Aunties who could not take their hands off nathan were unprepared for her strong reaction and quickly returned nathan back to mummy.
I kind of like the way she protects her little brother and saving him from the hugs and kisses which leaves nathan with smells of their perfume or stains of lipsticks.
Glad my protective daughter is there to help to express that disapproval! I am definitely not as direct nor brave as the little one when it comes to this!
