This was her second lesson at the speech and drama class. Children are expected to bring along an item to present in front of everyone. After which they were rewarded with a sticker and this was Natalie's version...
She walked up to the yellow chair independently, sat and turned toward the teacher.
N: i want Barney sticker
T: before you get the sticker, you'll have to tell us about the item that you brought.
N: this is a hairclip (she stretched out her hand to show the teacher
N: it's a strawberries clip.
T: may I wear it?
N: noo!
T: who wore the clip for you?
N: papa
T: do you like the clip?
N: yes
N: Barney sticker?
T: I don't have Barney.
Natalie frowned. Then She flipped all pages of the sticker book. And finally settled for a car sticker.
She beamed as she showed it to me after class.
